Outlook Express 4.7 Setup
Requirements
You will need the following information.
- Outlook Express 4.7 for Windows
- Your login ID (user name) ex: (joeuser)
- Your password
Open Outlook Express.
If prompted to choose a Setup Option:
Select I already have an Internet
connection set up on this computer and I do not want to change
it.
Click the Next button.
Click the Finish button.
If prompted to select a folder where
Outlook Express should keep your messages, click OK to accept
the default folder, or choose another folder and click OK
In
the left frame, select Outlook Express.
In the right frame, click Read Mail
In the Display name text box, type
your name.
Click the Next button.
In the E-mail address text box, type
your e-mail address.
Click the Next button.
In the drop-down listbox, select POP3
In the Incoming mail (POP3 or IMAP)
server text box, type pop3.nethere.net
In the Outgoing mail (SMTP) server
text box, type mail.nethere.net
Click the Next button.
In the POP account name text box,
type your username.
In the Password text box, type your
password.
Click the Next button.
In the Internet mail account name
text box, type NetHere Mail
(this name can be anything you want).
Click the Next button.
Select Connect using my phone line.
Click the Next button.
Select Use an existing dial-up connection.
Select your NetHere connection.
Click the Next button.
Click the Finish button.
